My name is Dennis Eric Ohsan. I was born in Manila on April 29, 1971. I studied Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, got my license to practice and worked for several years before answering the call to full-time ministry. I am currently the Youth Pastor in Quezon City Evangelical Church. I enjoy reading and watercolor painting. Currently I’m living a “single but already attached” life, and loving every minute of it. Hi, Marion!

[Update 100508: As of this writing, there are roughly seventy-one days till I tie the knot with my beloved M (see related post).  That probably explains the prophetic nature of the goofy smile I display in the accompanying photo.]

Having domesticated animals around relaxes me and at present I share my humble abode with three Ranchu goldfish, two African lovebirds, and till merely a few days ago, a South American tarantula named Suffix (died April 6, 2008).

[Update 100508: My tarantula passed away (See Farewell Suffix) and I exchanged my goldfish for several cichlids and barbs. People commented that they preferred the faster moving cichlids to the slower moving (read: boooooring!) goldfish. Please understand, I adore goldfish. But there's only so much excitement that you can get from those fat-bellied cousins of the carp. I'll probably get goldfish again soon, but right now my eyes are fixated on the little Yellow Princes and Tiger Barbs.]

I now walk around with a cane, since my current back problem makes it difficult to stand long. [Update 100508: I still walk with a cane, but my back's better.]

My favorite color is black, and I now have less hair than when I took the accompanying photo.

I don’t have a Friendster account. I don’t know why, but I don’t see myself getting one.

Occasionally, I play badminton and bowling. I don’t play basketball – never have, never will.

[Update 042809: Am very happily married to M. 'nuff said!]
