1001 Reasons Why We Don’t Do Gardening

Reason Number 674: Most of the plants under our care die. This comes after Reason Number 673: We don’t have enough space for a real garden.

Except for this little baby. It’s a two-inch(!) tall calamansi tree (Citrofortunella microcarpa). It’s been with us for about a year now and it’s the only plant in our botanical repertoire that’s still alive.

Maybe my beloved M and I need a real garden, instead of little plastic pots, for our plants to grow?
